The last lady of a living holder
Pauline was wife of Richard Souter, 25th Baron Audley of Heleigh, and mother of Patricia (b. 1946), Jennifer (b. 1948) and Amanda (b. 1958). When he died on 27 June 1997 the barony split three ways among those daughters.
She did not carry the writ in her own blood. She carried the last holder, and she is the mother of the living barony. Any petitioner who pretends those three women are a footnote has already failed the jurisprudence Joan Audley wrote in 1391.
