Chronicle of this board

Crowned Henry VII at Bosworth, 1485

Thomas Stanley, 1st Earl of Derby, husband of Lady Margaret Beaufort, stepfather to Henry VII, held his horse at Bosworth until the winning side was the winning side, then crowned the new king. The cadet of a 1192 manor-swap had reached the making of dynasties.

This is the highest title-holder the Stanley child of Aldithley ever produced. It is not a claim on the 1313 Audley writ. It is proof of what the other line did with the same blood.

Most decorated member of the Stanley cadet. Collateral to the Audley barony, not a holder of it.

Wardrobe

Gilt plate, the three stags on a blue bend, a gold collar of the Garter, the most decorated garment in the entire cadet: a king's stepfather in the hour the crown changed hands.

Weapons · animals · lands

The circlet he placed on Henry Tudor. Delay as a weapon. The richest political nerve in the bloodline.
