Chronicle of this board
Thicknesse blood; Touchet name resumed
George Thicknesse inherited as nephew and heir. He hyphenated Thicknesse-Touchet, stitching the 1332 subsidy name back onto the writ. The Staffordshire squire of the 1332 rolls has, in a sense, come home to the title.
Wardrobe
Regency tailcoat, cream breeches, the baron's parliamentary robes revived without an Irish coronet.
