A different writ. Stratton Audley, not Heighley.
Hugh de Audley, grandson of James the Justiciar, was summoned in 1317 and later created Earl of Gloucester through his wife Margaret de Clare. This is the most dangerous false friend in the pedigree: same surname, same generation as Nicholas of Heighley, a fret that looks like the fret.
It is a different dirt, a different writ, a dignity that falls dormant and is destroyed in 1521. A petitioner who pleads Gloucester as Heighley has already failed Absolute Grounding.
