The transatlantic crossing of the Griffith/Owen line
Rebecca Owen, born 1663, daughter of Owen Humphrey of Llwyn du, crossed from Merionethshire to Merion Township, Pennsylvania, in 1690. The lineage dossier calls her the transatlantic crossing: Griffith and Troutbeck blood walking onto American dirt.
She is not Keziah Snead. She is the other American door — the Welsh-PA pioneer the dossier files under Generations 3–10. The Snead/Watkins hinge is the petitioner's named spelling-bridge on the Sneyd cadet. Both can be true. Neither is the 1313 writ.
